Basis Desk for AI agents (MCP)

Remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP (stateless, read-only, no authentication):

Tools

• search_news — full-text search over published news, analysis and explainers.
• latest_news — newest stories, filterable by category (bitcoin, ethereum, defi, regulation, institutions, security…).
• get_article — the full article as Markdown with the numbered primary sources it was verified against.
• market_snapshot — prices refreshed every minute, 24h/7d change, market caps, dominance, Fear & Greed, gas and fees.
• whale_transfers — large Ethereum and Bitcoin transfers from our own scanner, with exchange labels where known.
• token_safety — contract risk signals (honeypot, taxes, owner privileges, proxies) from GoPlus Security.
• daily_brief — the Daily Brief or Evening Wrap for any date.

Server exposes 7 tools; all are read-only.

Connect

Clients with remote MCP support (Claude connectors, ChatGPT developer mode, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf): add a custom connector with the URL above, or in a JSON config:
