Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA)
What is MiCA?
MiCA is the EU regulation that sets a single licensing regime for crypto-asset service providers and rules for issuers of crypto-assets, including stablecoins (asset-referenced and e-money tokens). Its stablecoin titles apply from 30 June 2024 and the rest of the regulation from 30 December 2024.
